Our First Blog!

Hello! Welcome to Periwinkle Farms, and our very first Blog Post! We look forward to meeting you and sharing our weekly adventures with you.

My name is Ilse Anderson, and I love all animals. I started out years ago with a small rabbitry named Lil' Holland Rabbitry and expanded my business to include all that Periwinkle Farms has to offer today.

Besides operating my "Gentle-Lady Farm," I enjoy reading tons of books every year and a good hot chocolate with a dash of Cayenne! Oftentimes, my animals are named after favorite book characters.

My logo represents the delight that both books and animals bring to life. As a single mom, my dream is being realized in the running of this farm with my small son, Gideon. We are passionate about caring for our animals and recognize the abundance of God's goodness to us.
