About the Birds we Raise

Here at Periwinkle Farms we raise a fun variety of homestead poultry. We have had so much fun growing our little poultry farm, and are excited to offer not only Chickens, but Turkeys, Guineas, Quail, and Geese! We plan to add Ducks to our poultry menagerie in the near future. We have Ringneck Doves and Parakeets as well.

A List of the Poultry we Raise

English Orpingtons

We currently have a small group of Lavender, Black, and Black Mottled. Our lines also carry the recessive White gene. Hatching eggs and chicks available regularly year round.

Turkeys

We focus on our Blue Slates, but also have a pair of Bourbon reds and one pair that is a Rio/Bourbon Red Tom with a Bourbon Red hen.

Brown Chinese Geese

Also known as Swan Geese or Weeder Geese, this very talkative, outgoing and friendly breed will bring fun and laughter to your whole family!

Muscovy Ducks

We raise Chocolate, Lavender and Black colors. Our ducks are free range with a pond, but are friendly.

Jumbo Brown Coturnix Quail

We enjoy pickled quail eggs so much, that it just makes sense to keep these excellent egg layers on our farm!

Button Quail/King Quail

We focus most on our Silver and Silver Tuxedo color, but also have White, Tuxedo, Blue Face, Darth Vader and Normal colors.
