Periwinkle Farms is located directly off Highway 271 between Gilmer and Pittsburg, Texas.

I am happy to deliver any of our Periwinkle Farm Animals for a transportation fee. Our pickup locations can be selected and paid for at checkout! If you don't see your location, contact Ilse to find out of your area can be added. There is an additional fee for larger farm animals that require a trailer for delivery.

We do not host farm visits at this time. We have a free Farm Pickup option for orders placed, or Public Meetup locations we deliver to for a fee. However, we do offer select on-site locations for our photography companion booked sessions seasonally.

We are a mobile only party service at this time, however one day we hope to have our own Farm Venue for Parties, Painting classes, and workshops!

Rabbits: I use 16% Bluebonnet Rabbit Booster. However, I recommend you get whatever is freshest locally for your pet, as fresh is best for all critters! Cavies: I feed 16% Bluebonnet Rabbit Booster to my cavies, with a liquid Vitamin C added to their water daily. Hedgehogs: I feed 4Health cat food for All Life Stages to all of my hedgehogs. They also receive occasional treats of strawberry and apples. All of our dogs at all life stages are fed Sportmix brand Blue bag high energy dog food. Please Note that I am not a vet, these are just the feeds that I use and have found success with for my animals!

I have a large setup for my animals, however, I do have certain cages I have used and gone back to throughout my years of raising animals. For Rabbits, Hedgehogs, and Cavies I like to use the Kaytee cages. They have several different options for almost every critter imaginable, and are long lasting quality cages. For bedding, I use pine shavings or straw. Hedgehogs and cavies also love to have a plastic house to hide and sleep under! If you want to litter train your rabbit, I recommend a corner litterbox with pine pellets. Place this in the corner the rabbit naturally gravitates toward! Waterbottles can be a pain, as many start to leak after a short amount of time. The one I have found to last longest is the Lixit brand. They have multiple sizes available for whatever suits your needs! All of our Poultry are free range and waterfowl have access to a couple ponds. Our goats and pasture animals are on pasture and brush, and rotated when necessary for optimum grazing. Please Note I am not a vet, this is simply the housing that I have found easy to clean and maintain for the setup I have!

We feed all of our Golden Retrievers and Irish Wolfhounds the Blue bag of Sportmix brand dog food. This can be found on Chewy or at your Local Tractor supply Company.

We are available for Farm Pickup and Delivery Monday through Saturday from 9:00AM until 4:00PM. We occasionally offer Farm Pickup after hours on an as needed basis. Our Party Bookings are not subject to our operating hours. Simply call to see if your desired date and time is available to book. Sundays we are closed.
