Our Story
Hello and Welcome to Periwinkle Farms!

My name is Ilse Huitema, and I love all animals. In 2018, I established Lil' Holland Rabbitry and successfully raised and showed Holland Lop rabbits.
In 2022, I rebranded my business as Periwinkle Farms, and have expanded beyond rabbits. We now offer a small variety of beloved small animals, exotics, and farm animals, as well as our Periwinkle Parties and Petting Zoos!

In 2023 I married the man God made for me, and we now run Periwinkle Farms together.
​
Besides operating my "Gentle-Lady Farm," I enjoy reading tons of books every year and a good hot chocolate with a dash of Cayenne! Oftentimes, my animals are named after favorite book characters.

My logo represents the delight that both books and animals bring to life. As a wife and mother, my dream is to share the joy that I have found with others. We are passionate about caring for our animals and recognize the abundance of God's goodness to us.

Periwinkle Parties
Periwinkle Parties are mobile parties; we come to you! We offer a variety of packages, seven in fact, from Fairytale experiences to Petting Zoos, and snuggling baby farm animal seasonally. If you have a little girl with a big love for horses, or a little boy wanting to meet their next best friend, they will long remember their Periwinkle Party.
Periwinkle Farms
Here at Periwinkle Farms, we enjoy raising a select variety of small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and hedgehogs. We also breed livestock, a variety of farm and homestead poultry, and waterfowl.
We love our animals dearly and hope that each of our animals brings joy into the lives of their new families.
